The summer school will be held at University College London, one of the world's top-ten universities. Participants will benefit from being located in the heart of Bloomsbury, London's academic quarter.

Besides being based in the Institute of Archaeology, which physically adjoins the Department of Anthropology, other nearby attractions include the British Museum and Petrie Museum of Egyptology, while the Science Museum, Natural History Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum are all accessible by underground train. In addition, many of London's premier West End shopping and entertainment destinations are within walking distance of Bloomsbury.

Lectures and practical classes will be held on the UCL campus - exact location to be advised nearer the time.

Participants will be able to access the internet from the computer lab. Those who bring their own wireless-enabled laptops will need to install software (we can provide) in order to connect to the UCL wireless network. Wireless connectivity is available throughout the Institute of Archaeology and in most parts of UCL.
